We’ve been waiting for the availability of the mobile version of the Firefox for quite a while. And today it looks like people who are longing to try the new version can end their waiting. The mobile version of the Firefox, or codenamed as ‘Fennec’ has gone Alpha. Finally…
If you want to download it, you can get it here, but be forewarned… It only runs on the Nokia N810 tablet at the moment. As sad as that is, you can still play around with it on Windows, OS X or Linux.
You may also remember the screenshots of Firefox Mobile for Windows Mobile that I posted this past Sunday… So keep your eyes out for that release. It will no doubt be coming soon, and should provide a real taste of what ‘Fennec’ has to offer on a mobile device.
