Depending on your needs, you may find some smart phones more useful than others. Take touchscreen phones such as the iPhone 3G, for example — they’re excellent if you’re keen on a large screen for reading documents or watching videos, but not so great if you want to type out massive emails and aren’t used to using an onscreen keypad. It’s also worth looking at what documents the phone lets you view and edit, as some don’t support Microsoft documents, which may be annoying if you like to work on the go.

When I wanted to buy a new smart phone, i did a thorough research on a number of mobiles and finally zeroed on two, the E71 and I-Phone. E71 scored over a lot over the I-phone. I-Phone cannot be termed as a business phone. I-Phone a wonderful piece of device, but lacks a number of business features that are present in the E71. I settled for E71 and no regrets. I have the best phone in hand and is quite user friendly. Cheers to Nokia !
hmmm…make sense… the E71 won three awards lately, one of them is from WIRED, as the phone of the year :) It is indeed a great handset.
Yeah the E71 is a great phone and is loaded with features. I was doubtful whether to buy a blackberry or the E71. I am now thoroughly convinced and will go with the latter.

I have the HTC Touch pro, and I have to say that Windows Mobile is going to need some real help. It’s a great OS, but it’s too emphasized on being “Windows in you pocket”. Start menu????
Anyway, my actual overall opinion of the device itself is SUPERB! It’s my first ever smartphone, and my first ever device from HTC. They did really well, I only wish for a newer more hip version of Windows Mobile.
So…get an iPhone I guess, lol.

don’t even think of going for HTC , I owned a touch.which died right after its warranty flushed…. shit started crashing . did all flashing and format stuff whatever!!! ultimately took it back to HTC service dickheads. and they said motherboard is fucked up and repairs would cost 70% of the total fucking price… wow what more nasty can a nightmare possibly be. fuck the Taiwan shit guys go for Black berry if you need a serious business connectivity muscle on the go. I own one now…
HTC PRO TOUCH VS E 71 BETWEEN BEST MOBIL
i totally agree the HTC would not have been reviewed as it could not possibly rate an 8 in any comparative review against the others, especially in battery life. I’d rate it a solid overall 3 as well.
Definitely go with the E71. Got GPS, HSDPA, big keyboard for quick emails/sms, everything needed. Stable phone and good reputation for its quality.
Thanks this article along with the comments, has cleared everything up for me…….i knew the E71 was a great phone though the htc touch pro looked to be good to though from the looks of someones experience ive gone with the E71 :D
