Our friend Eldar from Mobile-review has done it again! Just recently he revealed his personal preview and first impression on the Sony Ericsson Kurara U5, the phone we’ve talked about (saying that it might be better than the Sony Ericsson Satio) several days ago. The Kurara U5 development was started at the same time with Satio, and it seems that the Kurara U5 will be rolled out in February 2010. Some say that the SE Kurara U5along with the SE XPERIA X10 will be the Sony Ericsson’s flagship device in 2010.

According to Eldar’s Sony Ericsson Kurara U5 preview, the SE Kurara U5 has nothing new to offer. Compared to the Samsung i8910 OmniaHD, the Kurara has a similar display (3.5 inch touchscreen) minus the AMOLED technology. Other features are 3.5mm headset jack, MicroSD card slot, and Twitter and Facebook apps.

About the Sony Ericsson Kurara U5’s camera, it packs 8.1MP camera with autofocus, but this is what Eldar think about it:  “nothing to write home about, and except for its 720p resolution for video, it’s little to no different from your average cheap 8 MP module.”

However, the phone does have the Cortex A8 processor, which makes the Symbian UI is faster compared to the OmniaHD…. And this combined with the perfect pricing (I hope :) ) could just make this Sony Ericsson Kurara U5 a popular one next year…

So what do you think about the SE Kurara U5 preview and first impression? Do you agree?  Some more Eldar’s deeper thoughts can be found from the link provided below…
