Samsung i7500 Android phone to debute this month

The giant Korean manufacturer Samsung said that we will see the Samsung’s first android phone, the Samsung i7500 in Europe on June 2009. Well, it seems that there has been some delay, guys. Luckily, the delay isn’t that long, since the new rumor buzzing over at the internet are saying that the new Samsung i7500 Android phone will be unveiled in UK this month.

To refresh your memory, here are the specs and features of the Samsung i7500 Android:

  • Android 1.5 OS
  • MicroSD card support
  • Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
  • 8GB internal memory
  • Tri-band UMTS/HSPA support (900 / 1700 / 2100 MHz)
  • 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7200A CPU
  • 3.2 inch AMOLED display along with HVGA (480 x 320) resolution
  • GPS
  • Wi-Fi
  • 5MPx camera and LED flash
  • Bluetooth
  • 3.5mm headset jack

While there’s still no information about the exact release date and the pricing of the Samsung i7500; we are almost certain that the carrier will be O2. Well, since Android platform has gained a pretty successful start in the U.S., we can expect that the new Samsung i7500 will arrive in the north America later this year. Perhaps in several months later.

Update: new rumor said that the unlocked version of the Samsung i7500 will be priced approximately at £499 (around $808)
