Several days ago buzzes over at the internet were saying that Samsung is preparing for some great phones to showcase at MWC 2009. And we’re pretty darn sure that one of them is this phone, the S8300 Ultra Touch.

So the Samsung S8300 Ultra Touch made its first time show up in mobile world in December last year, and just now the giant Korean manufacturer Samsung have confirmed that the Samsung Ultra Touch will begin its debute in the 2009 Mobile World Congress.

But what about the specs and features? Unfortunately, the Samsung S8300 is not a smartphone, it only runs on an upgraded TouchWiz user interface, rather than Symbian OS or Android OS. However, the S8300 specs and features is pretty impressive, since they include:

  • 2.8 inch anti-scratch AMOLED toushcreen display
  • GSM/EDGE/HSDPA connectivity
  • A-GPS
  • 8 MP autofocus camera with dual power LED flash and geotagging
  • VGA video recording at 30fps
  • Media player
  • Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP
  • FM Radio with RDS
  • 80MB of internal memory
  • MicroSDHC card support, up top 16GB
  • 110 x 51.5 x 12.7 mm

For the moment, there’s no word on the price of Samsung S8300 Ultra Touch (nor on its release date, for that matter), but things will probably get clearer during MWC.
