So I’m guessing that some users of HTC Touch HD out there are having a bit problem with their beloved device, huh? According information I got over at the internet, the problem is that the HTC Touch HD stops responding occasionally. But now there is a solution to deal with the problem, guys. It is said that recently the HTC have officially provide a new and downloadable hot fix for the HTC Touch HD to improve the HD’s System response time.

According to the hot fix description, “Sometimes the screen stops responding for about 3 to 5 seconds when running an application that needs to use the stylus to click the screen repeatedly within a short time. For example, the windows built-in software like SMS, email, solitaire, etc.”

Note that the hot fix can only be applied to those Touch HD with ROM version less than 1.19.xxx.x. If you do a hard reset after applying the hot fix, you have to re-apply the hot fix again after the reset.

It is now official. Another iPhone 3G competitor from HTC has now officially has a product page at the official HTC website. The phone was sighted last week when its specs and pics were leaked. However, there’s still no press release date available at the moment. But hey, we are still looking forward to see the handset. The new phone will have a 3.8-inch WVGA 800 x 480 touchscreen, HSDPA (using the Europe/Asia 900/2100MHz bands), WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS and A-GPS round out the device, together with HTC’s TouchFLO 3D GUI.

There’s also a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and front VGA camera for video calls.   A microSD slot is present for augmenting the 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM, and there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack.  The Touch HD measures 115 mm x 62.8 mm x 12 mm ((4.35 in x 2.5 in x 0.47 in) and weighs 146.4 grams (5.164 ounces) with the battery in place.

HTC have picked a 1350 mAh battery, promising 390 minutes of 3G talktime or 450 hours of 3G standby; alternatively, 120 minutes of video calling.  No word on price or availability as yet.

Here comes the newest information update on the HTC Touch HD, the iPhone competitor from HTC. According to the rumor, there some additional features such as a 5-megapixel camera, GPS, 1350mAh battery, 3.5mm headset jack on top, and the inclusion of a stylus will be found in the handset. The latest information even said that the Touch HD might be released in a Christmas holiday and some size specs have also surfaced. Measuring in at 115×62.8×12mm, it looks to be as tall as the iPhone, but not as thin. A comparison of its dimensions against the iPhone, Samsung Omnia, HTC Touch Pro and Touch Diamond clearly shows that its more within the region of the iPhone in terms of size as opposed to its much smaller HTC brethren.
