So here are some requirements you need: you have to install  Flash Lite 3.1 (can be downloaded here) and Growing panels (can be downloaded here)

after you have those installment, you can download and install the free X-panel for XPERIA phones, including X1 and X2… There is also an important note that the Growing Panel doesn’t work well on non-english devices.

So let me tell you about the 2 latest rumor on Sony Ericsson that draws me and phone geeks’ attention: The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3.  Well, from the specs and features of the 2 SE phones we got, the XPERIA X3 seems to be more attractive; but now it is time for the X2 to show up :)

What you are about to see is a video demo of Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 running on Windows Mobile (WinMo) 6.5 . There will be many actions and you can also see panels made for the X2. It is still disturbed with bugs a bit but hopefully Sony Ericsson will improve the OS soon. Enjoy the video after the break and share your opinion under :) Continue reading ‘Video: Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 with Windows Mobile 6.5’ »

This time Sony Ericsson XPERIA Rachael; or also known as the XPERIA X3 got a video preview. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3/Rachael’s video focuses on the preview of the X3’s User Interface (UI)

You might have known that the XPERIA X3 will use the latest Android version and what makes me excited is that it might be totally customized! That is very cool….

Aside of the Android OS, the XPERIA X3 also comes with 1 Ghz CPU and 8MP camera with many features. Well, for the complete list of the XPERIA X3 specs and features, just click on the link, will you? Anyway, the video after the break :)

Meanwhile, enjoy the video and tell me what do you think about it :)

Hohoho…. it is time for another big news… Did you read my post about the powerful Sony Ericsson Rachael? It is the first Android phone from Sony Ericsson and it packs a great specs, including 1 Ghz of CPU; 8 Mpx camera and the latest Android OS version, the Android 1.5…

Whoa, here comes a closer look to the latest cell phone from Sony Ericsson, the Sony Ericsson Rachael and Kiki!. Anyway, I’ve posted a quick insight about the Rachael here, which leaves a pretty good impression, but I haven’t talked about Kiki yet. SE Kiki is still a concept phone, the most attractive thing about this cell phone is the transparent screen. Kinda unique :)

Anyway, enjoy the pics guys Continue reading ‘Sony Ericsson Rachael and Kiki Images and Video: New and Sexy!’ »

Don’t get too excited, though. Since it is still a rumor. However, if the rumor is true than this might be the Sony Ericsson’s headline of the year :) The first android phone from the Swedish company name is the Sony Ericsson Rachael

So according to my source, the SE Rachael will use Android platform and will pack an astonishing 1Ghz of CPU and an 8.1 megapixel camera with autofocus. The Rachael is also expected to use 7.2 Mbps connectivity, and also will support 3D graphic capabilities.

Based on the picture, there is a standard 3.5mm jack for headset found on the Sony Ericsson Rachael. It also has a pretty large screen, it’s around 4 inches diagonally. Wow that’s LARGE man…. Anyway, have I told you that the Rachael is in XPERIA lines?

UPDATE: it has a real name now; the XPERIA X3! Read specs and features here

Sorry for the late update…. I’ve been busy lately, very busy. But hey, I’m here now :D Anyway, last year the news about the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 was pretty crazy. This time I present you one of the most interesting I’ve ever heard lately about the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1.You know that Sony Ericsson’s panel UI is not something to overlook, but the HTC’s superb TouchFLO 3D really have something to offer. I have to say it’s one of HTC’s advantages.

but what if I tell you that the HTC’s TouchFLO 3D is coming to Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1? Yes! YES! You heard me :D The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 can now use the famous TouchFLO 3D… Personally I’m not a big fan of the XPERIA X1, but hearing that the TouchFLO 3D goes to other handsets besides HTC’s is really interesting. Can’t wait to see other phones to use the TouchFLO 3D also :D

As good as the Sony Ericsson Panel UI is at sprucing up the XPERIA X1’s user interface, the HTC-made TouchFLO 3D UI is just light-years beyond anything the Swedish-Japanese cellphone maker could muster. That being said, XPERIA X1 owners have been waiting for the day when the HTC TouchFLO 3D UI could be ported to their previous XPERIA handsets.

Like all good software ports in the Windows Mobile space, we have the enterprising code-monkeys over at xda-developers to thank for this latest Windows Mobile ROM that will endow your Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 with all the TouchFLO 3D goodness you can handle. Forum moderator itje has posted the TouchFLO-toting XPERIA X1 ROM for all to use. Unfortunately, the ROM will only be made available in English.

Flashing the new XPERIA X1 ROM requires a bit of leg-work, so we suggest you read this entire thread before flipping the switch on TouchFLO 3D. As always, there is a significant risk whenever you flash your cellphone’s ROM, so make sure you’re fully charged, plugged in, and backed up before you do anything… anything!

After long time of waiting, finally the long overdue Sony Ericsson EXPERIA X1a is now available at the Sony Style website, Sony US store and select retail outlets. What about the price? You will have to reach a bit deep for the X1. It’s about $799 before taxes. In the end, you will have to pay around $867.

No offense, Sony Ericsson, but I think that it’s overpriced. Considering all of the X1features, I personally will wait for another big thing in 2009. It does have stunning design and feature set, but I prefer a more realistic priced phone. For more unboxing pictures of the XPERIA X1a, head on over here.

However, you might want to hold on to your money for the time being as CES 2009 is all poised and ready to begin this week. If the new products that will be unveiled in CES don’t catch your fancy, there’s also the World Mobile Congress you can look forward to next month which will definitely showcase the latest and greatest in mobile phone technology.

Only after those two huge events should you decide on whether you want to spend more than $800 on a soon-to-be outdated phone or just save up and wait for the next big thing to come out in 2009.

Hmm…Soon the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 will come in the North America. But before that, the Sony Ericsson have provided two new panels available to download as soon as you get the smartphone from Sony Ericsson. The new XPERIA X1 panels are the Facebook panel and the Windows Live panel.

Let’s go with the first one. The Facebook panel provides you with an interface designed to keep you updated and connected with your Facebook account whenever and wherever you may be. It also comes with click to call contacts functionality which makes it easy to call your friends.
