You know, just like other phone manufacturers, Blackberry have a numerous type of phone. And it might be a bit confusing to choose the perfect Blackberry phone for you. So, to help you decide which one you should choose, I found a comparison reviews over at the internet in a video format. As we all already know, the top-three position in Blackberry phones are the Blackberry Storm, Blackberry Curve and Blackberry Bold.
Zara of MobileChic made the 2 minutes video comparison between BB Storm vs BB Bold vs BB Curve 8900. What’s great is that she managed to point out the pros and cons of each Blackberry phone.
Check the video under:
So, people, after seeing the video, which Blackberry phone that wins your heart? Is it the Storm, Bold, or Curve?
I noticed that many people are searching for the Blackberry Storm ringtones, and finally a while ago I went to Google to find some free Blackberry Storm Ringtones, so that I can present the ringtones to you Blackberry storm users. Finally after some time of frustration of not finding the exact and free Blackberry storm ringtone, I found a website named ventones from yahoo answer. The man recommended the ventones said that the ringtones at ventones can also be used in Blackberry Storm or other Blackberry phones. So I went to the official website to find Blackberry storm ringtones and eventually I found out that they also share free ringtones for various blackberry phones and other devices besides providing a service that allows you to make your own ringtones… Isn’t that cool? Making your very own Blackberry Storm Ringtone for free! All you have to do is just register as a member there. It’s totally free, or so they said. To bad I don’t have the Blackberry Storm in my hand, so I can’t make and download my own Blackberry Storm ringtones. Anyway, here’s an excerpt from the official site:

There’s an interesting post that have attracted me. This time our folks at Intomobile have an interesting theme to offer; even though it’s not a free theme… And for me, the only reason I put a non free theme here is that the theme is excellent, in my opinion.
So this theme was created by a guy named Hedone Hawker, and he named it the “StormLike” theme. As you can guess from the title of this post, the StormLike theme brings the BlackBerry Storm look and feel to the other BlackBerry devices (83xx, 88xx, 81xx and Bold). The icons look so sharp and beautifully render on the screen — or at least screenshots look awesome.
There are also a number of other themes categorized by BlackBerry model series, as well as the “Coming soon” section, which reveals that BlackBerry users will soon get the cool-lookin’ Ferrari theme…
Enough said. Here’s the website where you can browse all the themes Hedone has made.
Good news, Blackberry storm users and fans out there! Verizon Wireless has officially released a pretty significant firmware update for their Blackberry Storm 9530 messaging phone. It is the key to some improvements for your Blackberry Storm, and you can have it by downloading the 102 MB size update. Oh, by the way, the latest version of the Blackberry Storm firmware update is ver 4.7.0.75 r107
The latest OS update resolves the following issues:
Intermittently, the device may have powered and immediately powered back on while sitting idle or when using multimedia applications.
Intermittently, a user may have experienced muted incoming audio when using voice-activated dialing.
Intermittently, while listening to music (on low volume) with “wired” stereo headsets, if the user received an incoming call, the audio volume of the music increased to the highest level.
Intermittently, customers received a recording stating, “cannot complete call as dialed” when manually dialing *86.
General improvements:
Improvements in performance for multi-media applications such as video, music and MMS.
Improvements in Bluetooth audio performance.
Improvements in display performance in terms of correctly displaying keys when switching between landscape and portrait modes.
It seems that many people were a bit disappointed with the Verizon’s Blackberry Storm OS performance. I have found an interesting article over at the internet that might be an answer needed for those seekers. Yes, the new Blackberry Storm OS update have leaked! This new Blackberry Storm OS update is said to have fixed a lot of lag with the camera and accelerometer response. Anyway, the update version is 4.7.0.75.
Now, if the press had this update before launch, maybe there wouldn’t have been such a rash of poor reviews, but obviously carriers and RIM wanted to get the thing out the door and selling before Black Friday. If you were on the verge of retuning your BlackBerry 9530, try out this update – it may wisk all your woes away. Not sure how to update your BlackBerry OS? Check out this how-to for the full explanation. Just keep in mind that this is an unreleased OS, so if you’re jumpy, you might want to wait until things get good and official.
Lately Blackberry have attracted all of us with their new handsets, which are the Bold and the Storm. I believe that many people who are common to these things are wondering what are exactly the differences of Blackberry Bold vs Blackberry Storm. Before we talked about the differences, let’s talk about the similarity. First of all, it came from the same manufacturer, and therefore it is not surprising how similar their features are.. Both Blackberry Bold and Blackberry Storm has HSDPA network, GPS, camera, BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry Maps, etc. But really, is there any other differences between the two blackberry devices besides of the Touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard? Let’s take a deeper look.
Network: Bold can work for HSDPA 850/1900/2100 (Triple Band HSDPA), while Storm can only work in HSDPA 2100 MHz frequency and CDMA2000 1x EV-DO (only for 9530 series)
Dimension and Weight: Bold has 114 x 66 x 14 mm and 133 grams, while Storm is heavier in 155 grams and 112.5 x 62.2 x 14 mm measurement
Display: Storm definitely outperform Bold with 360×480 pixels (3.25 inch) and Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate. Bold in other side has 480×320 pixels, that I think sufficient enough
Wi-Fi: BlackBerry Bold has Wi-Fi, 802.11a/b/g, while BlackBerry Storm has not! Too bad! It’s a big minus for BlackBerry Storm, in my opinion.
Camera: Bold has 2 megapixels camera, while Storm has 3.15 megapixels camera. However, better resolution doesn’t mean better quality.. But what’s interesting is the Blackberry Storm’s touchscreen even work as autofocus
Music: Blackberry is not famous among music lovers due to the not-so-good audio performance, but the Storm and Bold got the same score here, since both of them has a standard audio jack, the 3.5mm jack.
Battery: Bold is equipped with Li-ion 1500 mAh, bigger than Storm that only has 1400 mAh. But Storm’s battery life is claimed to have better standby time and talktime. Does Storm has better battery management?
Price
Well, for many people (including me), one of the most important aspect of a cell phone is its price . So here’s the price comparison between Bold and Storm when I wrote this article (you can use it as a guide in the future, when the price drops). So I took the price comparison from Amazon, and various prices are offered for Bold and Storm. The Blackberry Bold’s price range is between $499-$550 for a new one. Meanwhile, Blackberry Storm has the highest price, which about $550 or so for a new one. Or perhaps if you follow the AT&T plan, you can get Blackberry Bold 9000 for $249.
What about people’s opinion about the Blackberry Bold and Storm’s Design, Features, and Performance?
Well, everyone has their own taste, I know. And therefore I’m gonna use the voting result from our folks at GSMarena to capture people’s opinion. You can see the Blackberry Bold and Storm score yourself
Blackberry Storm 9500
Design: 7.9
Features: 7.6
Performance: 7.6
Blackberry Bold 9000
Design: 8.4
Features: 8.4
Performance: 8.4

[End of Flash News]
The Blackberry storm (formerly known as the Blackberry Thunder, the first ever touchscreen device from Blackberry) has gotten official as the company announced it two days ago. It is said from the press release that you will be able to see this handset in the market next month via Verizon and Vodafone. Here we provide you with several aspects of the Storm, including features, specs, and also photos , so let’s just get started:
News about the Blackberry Storm (also known as the Blackberry Thunder) have been around for quite some time now, and the latest news will make all of iPhone users bite their fingers. Yes, the Storm will support a cut, copy and paste functionality! So luckily our source have managed to find out how to perform those functions…
Just highlight the text you want to copy/cut by placing one finger at the beginning and sliding over the rest of the text with another finger. After that, just go to the Menu, select Copy, and all you have left to do is to just Paste it wherever you want to. One limitation to this, the way I see it, is if the text you’re highlighting exceeds the ones displayed on the screen which might require you to scroll the page. I’m sure this has been taken into consideration and we’ll know more or less how it will work once the Storm goes on sale.
Aside from the Windows Mobile-based devices, this is the first time we’ve seen cut, copy and paste implemented on a full-touchscreen device. Maybe Apple can use this as a basis upon which they can build their own cut, copy & paste feature for the iPhone, but that is only if they truly have plans of integrating such a function in their premiere mobile phone.
There’s an interesting post I found over at the internet. Someone named Christina Warren–from Download Squad– has posted her list of top ten application at her Blackberry. You might be interested in her list since I think that her list is quite good. So, here’s the list:
