Ok first of all I want to apologize for the very-very long gap of update. I was sick and very busy Anyway, what we have here is a video review of Samsung JET that has been done by our friends at the Phone Arena.

Let’s talk a bit more about the Samsung JET, shall we? The Samsung Jet is manufacturer’s first model to feature a new version of the TouchWiz interface that visualizes the different homescreen pages onto the sides of a cube, similarly to the LG’s S-CLASS 3D UI.

Other notable feature is 800 MHz processor, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 3.5mm jack, 5MP camera, 2 GB internal memory, a 3.1-inch display with WVGA resolution, incorporating the AMOLED technology.

Samsung, the korean manufacturer touted this phone with “Smarter than Smartphone” label; which makes everyone who are cell phones geek curious about the Samsung S8000 Jet. I won’t talk much about the list of specs of the phone, you can see it here

So now the Samsung Jet S8000 is available in its hometown, Korea. After being launched by Vodafone in UK recently, the Samsung Jet S8000 hits Korea in three carriers, the SK Telecom, KTF and LG Telecom. Each carrier has different name yet the same phone for the Jet; which are Samsung W850, Samsung W8500 and Samsung W8550.

There’s a slight difference between the Korean version of Samsung Jet S8000. The Korean W850/W8500/W8550 as additional DMB support and a WVGA AMOLED display of 3.5 inches (as opposed to Jet’s 3.1 inches screen).

So besides those addition, the specs and features of the Korean version of Jet S8000 is just the same with the original one, which you can see here

Yeah, I know this story is kinda old (well, not so old actually), but I just want to provide more detailed information about the hot Samsung Jet S8000. To date, lucky people in United Kingdom can order the Samsung Jet S8000 that was announced just recently. The Samsung Jet S8000 which has attracted more than 2 million people to pre-order it can now be purchased for free if you are on contract plan with the Vodafone UK. So here’s the contract detail:

1. £20 monthly for 2-yr contract plan
2. £25 monthly for 18-month contract plan
3. £40 monthly for 12-month contract plan

So the phone that was touted by its manufacturer as a phone that is smarter than a smartphone has cool specs and features such as:

• 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels and 16 million colors
• 800MHz processor
• TouchWiz 2.0 UI
• 2GB / 8GB / 16GB of internal memory
• 5MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash
• Wi-Fi
• GPS
• MicroSD card support

So now the Samsung Jet S8000 can be purchased online via Vodafone UK’s website.

The giant Korean manufacturer Samsung has officially announced the Samsung Jet Smartphone.  Some notable specs and features of this new Samsung Jet S8000 are the 16M WVGA AMOLED display (3.1”) which has 4 times the resolution of WQVGA screen, whooping 800MHz processor that surely enough to support the performance. In fact, Samsung Jet is the fastest full touch handset on the market today.

The phone also features multi-task manager and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, with a user-friendly menu navigations in a sleek and compact design.

Samsung’s latest TouchWiz 2.0 user interface new features such as intuitive 3D media gate UI and motion-response UI, smart unlock, customizable widget screen. The 5 mega-pixel camera, built-in GPS, DNSe & SRS Sound Effect technology for superior sound quality, and DivX and XviD video support for hassel-free video downloading and viewing.

I don’t have information about the price yet, but this one will be a nice addition to Samsung phones this year

UPDATE: It seems that Samsung Jet S8000 also has autofocus feature and dual LED Flash to improve the camera performance. The Samsung Jet S8000 also has 2GB / 8GB / 16GB of internal memory and MicroSD card support. About the price, Samsung Jet will be sold (from vodafone UK) for  £20 monthly if you are on 2-yr agreement contract plan, £25 monthly if you are on 18-months agreement contract plan, and £40 if you are on 1-yr agreement contract plan.
