A while ago we’ve heard an interesting rumor about the Motorola Droid 2. It is said that the motorola Droid 2 might be having antenna issue, just like the Apple iPhone 4. Previously the Apple iPhone 4 antenna issue have forced Apple to claim that their iPhone 4 antennagate is also happening in other devices from other companies, including Motorola.

The Motorola have respond the claim and said that their cellphone won’t be having the same antennagate problem as the popular iPhone 4. They have also released a somekind of ‘mocking’ ad to counter Apple’s move.

However, recently we’ve heard some buzzes over at the internet saying that some people in the Verizon forums who have tried the Motorola Droid 2 are experiencing some kind of signal issue. Some said that they have experienced many drop calls and varying signal in areas where signal’s strength are supposedly good. Motorola hasn’t given any response, but if this rumor is true, then Motorola should re-examine their Droid 2 and update the software to fix the antenna problem (if the problem existed on the software).

Another rumor about CDMA iPhone 4 has arisen to the surface. This time Digitimes has reported that Apple is preparing CDMA iPhone 4, along with the next generation of iPad, the iPad 2.

The CDMA iPhone specs and features is similar with the original iPhone 4 specs and according to Digitimes, Pegatron Technology will be the company to build CDMA iPhone 4 in December this year. The Pegatron Technology will supply the CDMA iPhone 4 for Verizon Wireles U.S.A and also China Telecom

In addition to that rumor, the CDMA iPHone 4 will be using metal material as the back plate and will also feature an integrated antenna.

Regarding the iPad 2, Digitimes believes that the 9.7 inch iPad 2 specs and features will include a new ARM Cortex-A9-based processor and also 512 RAM. The iPad 2 release date is expected at the Q1 2011. Moreover, there will be another version of iPad that comes with 7 inches screen and Cortex-A9 processor, with an IPS panel and 1024×768 resolution.

Now don’t get too excited, since it still and only a CDMA iPhone 4 and iPad 2 rumor.

I am sure all of you have heard about the Verizon iPhone rumor… Today we get another non AT&T iPhone rumor, and this time it’s the T-Mobile iPhone. The T-Mobile iPhone rumor has spread over at the internet in the last two days, and I have to admit that it’s an interesting T-Mobile iPhone rumor.

Anyway, although the T-Mobile 1700 / 2100 3G network is still incompatible with the iPhone 4 radio frequency, the fact that the T-Mobile is a GSM carrier makes this T-Mobile iPhone rumor is more believable. However, we have no confirmation whatsoever about the T-Mobile iPhone rumor, and up until now the only source of this rumor is from our guys at the Cult of Mac, claiming they got a “highly placed source” at T-Mobile.

Is it just another rumor that will fade in time or is it for real? We can’t be sure. But if the T-Mobile iPhone is a real deal, that will be great.

Another rumor has spread over at the internet about the Verizon iPhone (which means it will be the CDMA iPhone). Unlike the previous rumors about the CDMA iPhone from Verizon, this time the rumor is quite “strong” with the addition of Ben Reitzes of Barclays Capital analysis.

Buzzes over at the internet are saying that analysts are indicating that the CDMA iPhone might be coming on Verizon on the first quarter of 2011. Ben Reitzes believes that Verizon Wireless iPhone could enter production as early as Q4 of 2010.

It is obvious that the addition of CDMA iPhone will surely boost the iPhone sales. I know many of you CDMA users are longing to try the most popular phone of the year. Reitzes predicts that the deal could bring Apple 9 million iPhone sales next year.

Meanwhile, you might be interested in the iPhone 4 vs iPhone 3GS Comparison to see the difference between the two smartphone

The success of the unlocked market could motivate Apple to bring the CDMA iPhone into reality. And it is truly understandable that they will choose Verizon as their partner.

Can you feel it in your hand? the CDMA iPhone 4? Can you?

We heard nothing about the CDMA iPhone 4 when it was officially introduced by Steve Jobs earlier this month. He didn’t mention anything about Apple’s plan on making CDMA iPhone 4 whatsoever. However, buzzes and rumors about the CDMA iPhone 4 have appeared. Again.

From what we heard, the CDMA iPhone 4 will be made by Pegatron, and Apple should start receiving them in the 4th quarter of 2010. If this rumor is true, then the strongest candidate for the CDMA iPhone 4 provider should be Verizon. One thing that made me a bit unsure is the AT&T and Apple iPhone exclusivity deal which should be ended in 2013. But things might have changed, right?

Anyway, if Verizon really release the CDMA iPhone 4, Motorola and HTC phones will get serious reduce in the sell numbers. You know how popular iPhone 4 is. If I were them, I would surely hope that the CDMA iPhone 4 rumor is not true.

In addition, we also heard that Verizon is testing CDMA iPad. What???

Another information on the upcoming iPhone 4. Just recently there’s a leaked information from an Apple insider to Engadget that the American Beauty’s Director Sam Mendes has been chosen to direct the new iPhone 4 commercial advertising (this iPhone has many unofficial names, including the iPhone HD, iPhone 4G, iPhone N90 and iPhone Mammoth)

Previously, there was a tweet from an American actress claiming that she’s going for an Apple advertisement audition directed by Sam Mendes. Anyway. if you want to read about the possible (confirmed?) 4th-gen Apple iPhone name -whether its iPhone 4, 4G, HD, N90 or Mammoth- read here

For your information, Sam Mendes is a fresh director used by Apple. In the previous advertisement campaigns for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, Apple hired David Fincher of Fight Club. Now that Sam Mendes is in charge of the iPhone 4 ads, it is possible to see new style in the video ad (you can see the iPhone 4 vs 3GS  comparison here).

Meanwhile, here’s the predicted iPhone 4 specs and features

Cheers.

I know that the internet is filled with the excitement of iPhone 4G/ iPhone HD and the first 4G-enabled phone, the HTC EVO 4G Android; but recently I heard an interesting info (or to be exact, rumor) about the Nokia E72 successor, the Nokia E73.

Our source said that there is a possibility that the launch of Nokia E73 will be prepared starting in June, and a release date will come shortly after. It is said that T-Mobile has the Nokia E73 on the books for the summer. The new HTC EVO 4G Android and iPhone 4G/HD might be the ones on the spotlight right now, and the Nokia E73 specs and features might not be a super-phone like them (but still we can’t be sure what Nokia is preparing for those EVO 4G and iPhone 4G/HD); it is still a nice news for those who love the good ol’ Eseries business phone…

So let’s just wait until then and perhaps when the rumor is confirmed I will update this post and add some more information on the Nokia E73, including the E73 features, specs, price and exact release date. Stay tuned.

[UPDATE] The Nokia E73 Mode has been announced; and according to Nokia you can start buying the T-Mobile Nokia E73 Mode on June 16. Read the article about Nokia E73 Mode full specs and features and price

All of these buzzes about the new iPhone 4 makes us wondering, will the new iPhone 4 come to Verizon? Well, Verizon has confirmed that they want the iPhone 4 with LTE, but is it possible?

Well, it seems that the answer to that question is finally clear; as the fact revealed that AT&T and Apple has an iPhone exclusivity deal for 5 years, starting from 2007. For those who are unaware, the first generation of iPhone was introduced back in 2007.

Apple responded to accusations by saying that the five-year exclusivity deal was “not secret,” and that “there was widespread disclosure of the exclusivity and no suggestion by Apple or anyone else that iPhones would become unlocked after two years.”

The exclusivity deal may be up to 2012; but things might be different now, since the iPhone has gained enormous success in just three years. It is understandable if they want to cancel the iPhone exclusivity deal; allowing them selling iPhone (or the brand new iPhone 4) through other carrier, such as Verizon.

We may get confirmation straight from Apple whether the new iPhone 4 is available exclusively from AT&T or not (hopefully we’ll see Verizon iPhone 4 soon) when they announce it on June 7.

There are some invitations about HTC EVO showcasing have been sent out by Sprint. Yes, we know the HTC EVO 4G official release date has not yet announced. At least we know the launching date will be on May 12 in NYC.

On the upcoming even there will be Dan Hesse, Sprint CEO to showcase the EVO 4G multimedia capability. In this case, Sprint will partner with Walt Disney Pictures with its coming blockbuster
“Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time”. It looks like the movie would be pre-loaded on the EVO 4G.

The invitation has published HTC EVO 4G as “the world’s first Android phone”. This seems to be a mistake. Perhaps they mean EVO 4G is the world’s 1st 4G Android phone.

The current version available for iPhone 3GS are the 16GB and the 32GB versions. Both of them cost quite a lot ($199.99 16GB version and $299.99 for the 23GB version) and it might be just beyond the reach of some people. However, there’s a great news for iPhone 3G S lovers who are searching for a cheap and affordable iPhone 3GS. Rumor buzzing over at the internet are saying that the iphone 3GS 8GB version will come out soon, and it will be cheaper than the other two devices, isn’t that great? :)

Anyway, our guys over at the BGR explained that a Rogers insider have leaked an information/documents that Apple will replace the iPhone 3G 8GB (sold for $99.99) with a new iPhone 3G S 8GB. Therefore a speculation arises saying that the iPhone 3G S might be sold for $99.99 too. It is still a rumor, but I really hope it’s true….
