So the Touch Pro2 is powered with a 3.6-inch WVGA restive touchscreen display, sliding QWERTY keypad, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, Wi-Fi, GPS, 512MB ROM/288MB RAM, microSDHC support and a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7200A processor, and the famous TouchFLO 3D.

The price that is set for the device is quite expensive though, you’ll have to pay around $349.99 on 2 years contract plan…. But hey, if you are looking for a pretty powerful WinMo device, here it is :)

Sorry for the late update, guys…. Anyway, here is a news update on the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G. Finally T-Mobile has officially made myTouch 3G available for purchase, online and offline. And as I told you before, what makes MyTouch 3G special is the personalization. Therefore the Android device would not be released in an ordinary manner…There are bunch of accessories and customized shells to choose from.

So the phone itself has a pretty nice design, and when you buy one of these, you’ll be able to design your own MyTouch 3G shells. When you’re satisfied with the design, you can print it on the MyTouch 3G and got it shipped to your home. Besides the outside personalization, the inside also got the same treatment. You can put new widgets, icons and wallpapers that are added straight onto the home screen.

Moreover, users can also use the power of Android Market to find the right app for their MyTouch 3G. Added with T-Mobile’s ever expanding 3G network, this phone is a promising one :)

The T-Mobile myTouch 3G will retail for a relatively affordable $199.99 with a two-year agreement, where you can choose from black, white and merlot colors.

Hmmm… A bit expensive, don’t you agree? However, some people have said that the HTC TouchPro2 might be the T-Mobile’s offer with the richest-feature to date. But it is still far above the iPhone 3GS plan price ($199) So are you still interested with the QWERTY phone?

What is the T-Mobile Dash 3G? It’s a simple and standard QWERTY phone. It has some decent specs and features; such as the pretty fast CPU (528 MHz), 3G, Wi-Fi, 2 megapixel camera and so on. So recently T-Mobile has finally unveiled the price and launch date of the first T-Mobile’s 3G-enabled WInMo smartphone.

According to my source, the Dash 3G will be officially launched on July 8th; and the price will be $170 after a 2-year contract signing, but were not sure if that includes a mail-in-rebate or not.

A xda-developer forum had arisen this issue. It shows a ROM with the above prove. Is it a real proof of the HTC Touch Pro2 heading to T-mobile? The other question, whether it is a variant or separate device of the Rhodium aka Tungsten. We know that codename Rhodium itself had confirmed to be headed to T-Mobile in this summer.

The red circle showing us the T-MOB010 code, which means T-Mobile along with its country code identification. The next line we see USA as the language, means that it is headed to T-Mobile in future. The information is like what a guy from Pocketnow has explained.

Horraaayy…!! It’s time for another freeware! This time the lucky device to get the freeware is the Android phone, T-mobile G1. The T-mobile G1 freeware is called Meebo. Yes, I know that many of you have used the popular multi-protocol instant messenger client, but this time it’s kinda special, since the freeware has come for android phones such as T-Mobile G1. You can download the apk file of the Meebo by clicking the provided link under the post.

Anyway, Meebo supports AIM, Yahoo!, MSN, Google Talk, ICQ and Jabber IM networks. It has some nice features, and the Meebo Client for android runs in the background and display new notifications in the system tray.

Android and T-Mobile G freeware Meebo Features:

  • No SMS charges!
  • Application runs in the background
  • Displays notifications in phone’s system tray

According to the developers “this is just the first version. It doesn’t have every feature that you would look for in a full blown desktop IM application…”

G1 owners, as you might already know that November 11th will be the day of the T-Mobile’s RC29 firmware upgrade for G1. However, those who really-really want to upgrade their T-Mobile G1as soon as possible might find this post useful enough. So you know, there is an easy way to manually force an upgrade. In fact, it’s very easy.. All you have to do is just download the update, move it over to a MicroSD card, and the hard work is pretty much done.

However, T-Mobile warns that the manual upgrade isn’t officially supported, so if you bork your G1 you’re probably screwed, but it seems pretty foolproof. There’s a big ol’ thread discussing it at the T-Mobile forums, and users are reporting forcing the upgrade with no problems. It’s not clear what kind of goodies the update brings, but if you’re bored and a tiny bit risky, have at it.

UPDATE:

In fact, we might see Apple dropping the iPhone 2.2 OS update on us as early as November 21. Word from iPhoneHellas.gr has it on a “reliable” source that Apple will go live with the iPhone 2.2 OS next week. Early iPhone 2.2 OS betas don’t show any signs of background notification services being quite ready for consumption, but we do know that the new iPhone OS will likely sport:

It’s pretty surprising, I must say. To be honest I didn’t really like the T-Mobile G1, since the only thing that is attractive for me is the OS. Therefore the fact that many people really like this handset is pretty interesting. Anyway, as much as 1.5 million of the G1 have been pre-ordered, this means that the handset has successfully surpassed the sales expectation. Moreover, after the pre-orders G1 have been sold out, HTC has tripled the order and were sold out as well. The pre-order is still available at t-mobile site and they promise to deliver all pre-orders by 10th November. If you have ordered it before 3rd October this month, you will get it as early as 22th October, 2008.

Even though some people say that there’s nothing really special about the G1 except for its Android OS, it seems that it doesn’t stop people from wanting the handset. It is proven by the G1’s sold out at the T-Mobile. While there definitely won’t be anything like iPhone launch day madness, don’t be surprised if the launch supply is exhausted by demand and they’re a bit scarce in the immediate aftermath. How many of you guys pre-ordered one?
