Regarding the increasing disturbance in the iPhone (3G, 3GS) SMS vulnerabilities (read: SMS Hacks), Apple has updated their iPhone OS 3.0 to iPhone OS 3.0.1.

Here’s a statement from Apple on the software update:
We appreciate the information provided to us about SMS vulnerabilities which affect several mobile phone platforms. This morning, less than 24 hours after a demonstration of this exploit, we’ve issued a free software update that eliminates the vulnerability from the iPhone. Contrary to what’s been reported, no one has been able to take control of the iPhone to gain access to personal information using this exploit.
So download it and enjow a more save journey with your beloved iPhone

Recently there is a new minor update for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Firmware available over at the internet. However, just like I said, it is just a minor firmware update; so do not expect much about it. It doesn’t pack the kinetic scrolling and enhanced homescreen as expected.

As usual, the minor update fix several bugs and improve the speed of Nokia 5800 XM, there’s also an addition of new email plug-in on the homescreen.. Anyway, you can download the firmware update via OTA (Over the Air); directly from your phone.
If you have tried the firmware update, please do share some comments under

So here comes another firmware update for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and this one is really interesting; at least for me
What makes this firmware update interesting is of course as mentioned in this article title; the kinetic scrolling…

This kinetic scrolling have been waited by many Nokia 5800 XpressMusic lovers; and finally Nokia granted it and confirmed it at a recent Nokia Malaysia meet-and-greet session.
The firmware update will also enhance the home screen, improve the camera performance, and fix some bugs to make the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic more stable. Rumor buzzing over at the internet said that the firmware update will be available in the end of the summer. Hopefully.

So I’m guessing that some users of HTC Touch HD out there are having a bit problem with their beloved device, huh? According information I got over at the internet, the problem is that the HTC Touch HD stops responding occasionally. But now there is a solution to deal with the problem, guys. It is said that recently the HTC have officially provide a new and downloadable hot fix for the HTC Touch HD to improve the HD’s System response time.
According to the hot fix description, “Sometimes the screen stops responding for about 3 to 5 seconds when running an application that needs to use the stylus to click the screen repeatedly within a short time. For example, the windows built-in software like SMS, email, solitaire, etc.”
Note that the hot fix can only be applied to those Touch HD with ROM version less than 1.19.xxx.x. If you do a hard reset after applying the hot fix, you have to re-apply the hot fix again after the reset.
Download the hotfix here
