Nokia N9 Specs and Features

Nokia N9 Specs and Features

It seems that Nokia N9 will come soon, very soon. Just last week we saw many leaked Nokia N9 pictures, showcasing the design, case, etc. However we didn’t get any information regarding the Nokia N9 specs and features. So nobody got too excited.

However, just recently we heard an interesting update on this matter. It seems that a tipster named Lee have given some information and insight regarding the Nokia N9 specs and features. So here is the good news:

Nokia N9 is said to be launched with Meego UI; and it will sports a 4-inch OLED display. The processor is the fastest processor available on the market to date, with 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. In addition, the Nokia N9 specs will include 512MB of RAM, 1GB of system storage, and 64GB of internal memory.

In the media performance, the Nokia N9 is said to be able to do HD video recording with full 720p HD video recording. As other smartphones to date, the Nokia N9 will also sports WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, and HSPA connectivity.

However, from previous rumors we heard that Nokia is planning to use the TI OMAP processors rather than Snapdragon. So there are questions about this rumor. Either way, if you want to know more about the Nokia N9 specs and features; stay tuned in this Gadgetwidgets.

There’s a new preview video about the upcoming Nokia Meego UI, showcasing several interface features of the Nokia Meego UI. In the video there are App store access and music player, desktop widgets, integrated/social phonebook, etc

From the look of it, the Meego UI seems pretty impressive. Note that the Meego UI is considerably in its early stages of development, therefore it is quite amazing they can pull this kind of UI.

Enjoy the Meego UI preview video below:

There are several good reasons why you would love the Nokia N8 camera, and now we will give you at least 9 pros of the Nokia N8 Camera review, at least it’s according to the Nokia fans at the Nokia Blog. Let’s just start it, shall we?

  1. Vivid Natural Colors
  2. Disabled sharpening enhancement for more details.
  3. Smarter Auto-Flash
  4. Greater flash range than the Nokia N82
  5. Always-on red-eye removal system
  6. Improved face detection system
  7. Increased detail in video
  8. Video: digital zoom up to 2.5x without loss of resolution
  9. Video: Objects from 24 inches to infinity appear in focus

In short, Nokia focuses on presenting a natural picture with a relatively low noise. The Nokia N8 camera flash will operate automatically when you are shooting images in it’s flash range. If it’s outside the flash’s range, then the flash will automatically turned off. The flash is also better than the Nokia N82, it has a better range and can bring more details. The Red-Eye is now operating all the time and a better video result. For the Nokia N8 camera shot samples, you can visit the Nokia Blog. Cheers.

Here’s an interesting demo video about the Nokia N9 (some call it Nokia N8-01, nokia N8-02, etc). Well, whatever the name is, I think that the Nokia N9 video is quite cool. It gives us a hint on some Nokia N9 specs and features, along with the comparison between the Nokia N9 against iPhone 3GS and HTC EVO 4G.

Anyway, from the video it is revealed that the Nokia N9 will sports a 4 inches, 640 x 360 display capacitive touchscreen with multitouch technology. The front camera for video calling seems to be a VGA camera, and there’s an 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash on the back. I’m just gonna be short so you can enjoy the video. Here is the video preview about the Nokia N9 (some people believe that it’s the variant of the Nokia N8).

In the video, the N9 runs on Symbian, and we can see that it has 3G, 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display, front facing camera with LED flash, 8MP main camera with dual LED flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI-out and of course a full sliding QWERTY keyboard.
