Just a quick update on the Motorola Droid. Yesterday Verizon has confirmed that they are starting to provide Flash 10.1 Update for Motorola Droid owners. This Flash 10.1 update is available via OTA. All you have to do to is just point the browser to the Android Market; search and install Adobe Flash Player 10.1 from there.

The Flash 10.1 will bring flash-based animations, videos and games into your beloved Motorola Droid. You are required to update your Android 2.1 Eclair into Android 2.2 Froyo before installing the Flash Player 10.1

Verizon Wireless has begun pushing an update today to the DROID by Motorola (introduced November 2009) that will allow customers to download Adobe Flash 10.1 via Android Market. Flash Player 10.1 provides access to millions of sites with rich content including animations, casual games, videos, rich internet applications, audio and much more.

It is nice to see Verizon actively update the software for Android devices, doesn’t it?

HTC Mozart pictures

Several days ago there were a rumor about the first Windows Phone 7 device from HTC, known as the HTC Schubert. However, today we found a leaked pictures of the HTC Mozart, which shares a lot similarities with the HTC Schubert.

The fact that the HTC Mozart picture is awfully similar with the HTC Schubert makes us all think that the HTC Schubert -HTC’s Windows Phone 7 first cellphone- is just a codename for HTC Mozart. Is this Samsung’s way to get back to Steve Jobs and Apple press release about the iPhone 4 antennagate a.k.a. the death grip? Well no one knows. Just recently Samsung UK has announced that they are giving free Galaxy S devices to people who have tweeted about iPhone death grip-related frustrations.

It is very interesting how Samsung will send Galaxy S for iPhone 4 costumers, so that they can decide which one is better, the Samsung Galaxy S or iPhone 4. The picking mechanism is unclear, whether Samsung randomize people who are complaining about the iPhone 4 death grip or is it ‘first come first served’ system.

However, it seems that the free Galaxy S for iPhone 4 customers is not available anymore, since several hours ago Samsung UK via its twitter account have indicated that the number of Samsung Galaxy S to give away for iPhone 4 owners is not that much anymore. But just for luck, you might want to visit the Samsung UK official twitter account @samsungukmobile.

Very brave indeed.

Seeing the HTC Desire HD specs and features reminds us of how similar it is with the popular CDMA android smartphone, the HTC EVO 4G.While in the current HTC Desire HD Specs and features we haven’t seen a clue whether the Desire HD will come with 4G or not, the HTC Desire HD might be HTC’s answer for those who are craving for GSM HTC EVO 4G.

No pictures or price is here yet, but we do hear that the HTC Desire HD release date will be in October.

Ok I have a good news for all of you who aren’t so into iPhone 4G/HD thing, and prefer the Android super-phone, the HTC EVO 4G. Just recently HTC has opened an HTC EVO 4G order site, and within the site you can see that there are three purchasing options, with different price tags.

According to the HTC EVO 4G order site, the HTC EVO 4G price tags will be $199, $299, and $549. Here are the details:

HTC EVO 4G price list:

• $149 for new costumers with 2-year contract plan ($100 HTC USA Online Store instant discount included)
• $299 for existing costumers who want to extend their contract ($150 HTC USA Online Store instant discount included)
• $549 without contract

All three pricing options will get free shipping. For the record, previous rumors about the HTC EVO 4G price predicted that the price tag will be $600 (BestBuy), $499 (RadioShack) and $449 (Sprint). The best offer is of course the $549 without any contract, but judging from the offer, I think that the middle offer is more reasonable.

Additional information: if you order the HTC EVO 4G now from HTC, you won’t get it on the release date, you’ll have to wait a little bit longer. According to our sources, the HTC EVO 4G preorders will be shipped on June 4th (the date when HTC EVO 4G is available in stores). This means that by ordering now you are making sure that you get one. The phenomenal iPhone 4 will be released soon, and all iPhone-geeks are waiting for the WWDC event on June 7th (this is what most people think will be the iPhone 4 release date). Just recently I heard another info/rumor about the 4th generation iPhone. According to our sources, the iPhone 4 price will be the same with the previous version.

So here’s the price tags: currently the iPhone 3GS 16GB is priced at $200; while the iPhone 3GS 32GB is priced at $300. Now analysts predicts that the new iPhone 4 32GB price will be $200 and the iPhone 4 64GB price will be $300. Another prediction from the analyst is that AT&T will lower iPhone 3GS price to $100 soon after the iPhone 4 release date.

There’s one thing interesting here. While many people believed that the iPhone 4 release date will be June 7th at the WWDC, the analyst, Gene Munster from Pipe Jaffray believed that the iPhone 4 will arrive at AT&T in mid/late June.
