[Tutorial] How To Unlock iPhone 3G and 3GS with BlackSn0w freeware

Ok, before I start the tutorial, it is better that you know what blacksn0w is and download the app first by reading my previous article about the Blacksnow unlocking Freeware

Now here’s what you need to do when you want to unlock your beloved iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS:

• Download and Run the Blackra1n.exe to your PC/Desktop
• Connect your iPod or iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS to the computer and click a large button called “make it ra1n”
• After you do this, your iPhone 3G or 3GS will enter recovery mode, and your device will display a picture of the creator in this state



• Then the Blackra1n will start and soon your device will reboot



• Once your device reboots it will be jailbroken and you will notice a blackra1n icon on the Springboard. .

Now I bet you are wondering where is the BlackSn0w part. Lol. But don’t worry, the Blackra1n is the tool you need to get this Blacksn0w unlock free app. Here are the next steps:

1. Launch the Blackra1n by clicking the icon



2. Then choose the installer app that you want, then press to select sn0w if you would like to unlock your device. Press the Install button at the top right of the screen to begin.



3. Now Blackra1n will grab and download the package from the internet



4. If you chose to unlock device using blacksn0w you will be presented with a Post Install log for sn0w. CommCenter will be restarted and there is no need to reboot. If your carrier doesn’t support 3G then disable it. Press the Close button to continue.
5. Now that the process is complete, the Blackra1n will respring your iPhone and you will find the installer package of your choice on the Springboard.



6. Once you have confirmed your installer package is working correctly you may use the Uninstall blackra1n button inside the BlackRa1n app to remove it from your springboard.

Now that’s how you unlock your iPod or iPhone, either its iPhone 3G or the new iPhone 3GS via BlackSn0w freeware… Many thanks for the Blacksn0w creator, Geohot for this superb free app.
